Dr. Shara Eisen is a graduate of UC Berkeley and LCCW and has run the New Hope Wellness Center since 1995. She currently practices choice-centered astrology, classical homeopathy, counseling, and is a member of OPA (Organization for Professional Astrologers). Lynn Leake and her husband Sam moved to Wilmington in 2004. After accepting an invitation by Norwalk Furniture to open a franchise here, their daughter joined them as part of the venture. The LUXE Home Interior store has been an all consuming endeavor. Lynn has a Masters degree in Interior Design and an undergraduate degree in Art Education.
A native Wilmingtonian, Paige Brown is a photographer, freelance writer, horticulturist, and travel enthuiast. She spent her childhood in the salt marshes, beaches, and maritime forests of the Cape Fear Region, becoming passionate about conservation of our natural areas at an early age. Dr. Jennifer Escarcega is a chiropractor who has been serving Wilmington and the surrounding area since 2010. Dr. Jen is a graduate of Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC, and Sherman College of Chiropractic in Boiling Springs, SC. In her free time, Dr. Jen enjoys diving and serving with Baptist Medical & Dental Missionaries International in Nicaragua.
Evonne Varady is co-owner of Clean Eatz Cafe located on Racine Dr. in Wilmington, NC. From being too skinny, to being overweight, to placing first in the North Carolina State Show, she has been through most of it. In 2013, She and her husband opened Clean Eatz to create a cafe that supports any healthy commitment.
A native Carolinian, Lynn Ingram’s work has appeared in a number of publications including Sasee, The Charlotte Observer, Progressive Farmer, and Lake Wylie Magazine. She is a psychologist in private practice in Wilmington, and she teaches psychology at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington. When she’s not writing or sorting out the secrets of human nature, she gardens, dances and reads.
