Chicken Wings – CFL Honey Soy Style

Chicken Wings marinated and baked in a rich and flavorful honey-soy sauce are a satisfying diversion from fried chicken wings, with a tasty sauce that is perfect over rice. CFL Honey Soy Chicken Wings

4 pounds chicken wings (or drummettes)
1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup oyster sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 teaspoons minced garlic
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon fresh thyme
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
1 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder
1/4 cup chopped green onion

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

2. Mix Worcestershire, honey, oyster sauce, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, sesame seeds, five-spice powder, chopped green onions and thyme. Adjust seasoning to taste. Add wings and toss to coat.

Marinate for 30 minutes or overnight. Put wings and marinade into baking dish.

3. Bake for 90 minutes uncovered, basting wings every 15 minutes. Check for doneness; sauce should be thick.

4. Serve with rice and garnish with additional chopped green onions.
