February is here and that means so is Valentine’s Day. If you’re looking for a few romantic and scenic date ideas, we’ve got you covered.

        Wrightsville Beach is home to the Valentine’s Day Scenic Tour complete with chocolates and a small token for guests. Enjoy the charm of Masonboro Island aboard the M/V Shamrock. Couples who have been married 50 years or more can enjoy the 11 AM tour for FREE.

        For those staying inland, historic downtown offers the experience of Horse Drawn French Coach Rides. Patrons will receive a red rose and box of chocolates to enjoy during their half hour tour.

        Call (910) 251-8889 to make a reservation by February 10th. Valentine’s Day French Rides are $100 per couple. Couples can also enjoy the eight passenger carriage ride for $75 per couple as well. Daily tours run from 10 AM until 10 PM and meet on Market Street between Water and Front Street.

        Experience dinner and a show at TheatreNOW. Located in historic downtown on 10th Street, TheatreNOW proudly showcases a wide array of theater productions, live comedy, music and more. Valentine’s Day weekend will give you a chance to see The Lambda (directed by Ron Hasson) and choose from amazing dishes such as butternut squash lasagna and roasted French chicken breast.
