Apline Sauzerac from 1900 Restaurant & Lounge
Cocktail hour this week features a delicious Fall concoction from Jimmy Smith, bar manager at 1900 Restaurant & Lounge. It features Quinn’s whiskey from North Carolina’s Great Wagon Road Distilling, based in Charlotte.
2 oz Quinn’s NC whiskey or similar whiskey or bourbon.
2 splashes of all spice bitters
1/2 oz of anise liqueur
Spring fresh rosemary
2 whole cranberries
Shake whiskey with 4 cubes of ice. Rinse glass with anise liqueur.
Strain and serve with with all spice bitters, fresh rosemary sprig , 2 hole Cranberries and an orange peel rim.
