The 24th Annual Orange Street ArtsFest takes place between Front and 3rd Streets adjacent to the Wilmington Community Arts Center in downtown Wilmington, NC. The event is the largest arts festival in the Port City and features more than 80 artists and $550 in prize money. The event also includes live entertainment and a variety of food, plus hourly music, dance and theater performances.
The judge for this year’s festival is Amy N. Grant – the owner of Art in Bloom Gallery – who is an active member of the Arts Council of Wilmington and New Hanover County. She is a board member of DREAMS of Wilmington (Center for Arts Education and Youth Development through the Arts) and of Thalian Hall Center for the Performing Arts. Grant is a classically trained artist and had a gallery in the Philadelphia area during her career in science in the biopharmaceutical industry. Art in Bloom Gallery is located at 210 Princess Street in downtown Wilmington and presents an eclectic mix of original art by emerging and established artists.
The Thalian Association Community Theatre is the event presenter.
